That is what Alaska Vactions is planning for the tourist season, and they claim they are already 60% booked.
The non-stop flights will be operated by a North American 757, which is a downgrade in size from the Omni DC-10 that was chartered last year.
The direct flights cut the normal transit time by about half since passengers will not have to go through a hub such as Seattle of Frisco.
So if you are planning an alaskan vacation from asia this summer, you may be able to cut 5 or 6 hours off your flight time to get here
