Last April used a reward ticket to fly LAX
. No reflection on the crew, I found the J/C standard very bland and basic. B744 on both legs.
SEATING - 1st generation J/C seats. Pitch was perhaps no more than 50-55", and all funcitons manual as opposed to electric. PTV the basic industry standard.
CREW - No complaints friendly and accomodating.
-FLIGHT SERVICE - Was acutally shocked based on the generally positive feedback I've read on A.Net & Skytrax. 2045 departure ex LAX
. NO pre-meal bar service, no hot towel service. Tray Service with mixed Salad and 3 prawns, and entree quality poor (steaks raw, chicken bloody) and in small casserole dish similar to any short-haul North American service. Ice Cream trolley and cheese combined. The entire service took no more than 1 hour. Lights out, and breakfast also a "quick tray" service.

airport as well. I know NZ
has won numerous awards for their service, but truly..not impressed.
