Biman Sells The ATPs

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has finally been able to find a buyer for its two ATP aircraft. Recently they were sold to Emereld Airways of UK. The two aircraft left Dhaka on Jan 21 on its delivery flight to Blackpool via Karachi,Tehran and Prague.

Thank God for that! It's high time the poor airline got rid of these useless aircrafts from its fleet... After having flown on Biman's ATP's a few years back, I would never ever fly on them again!

Only one was sold to Emerald Airways, the other ATP was bought by West Air Sweden (ex S2-ACX).

And they have a tender out to purchase 2 F28s. I guess their service on domestic routes will be still just as unreliable.
