BGH Over North-East Today

Sat Feb 07, 2004 11:04 pm

Did anyone see the BGH Airlines flight from EMA fly over Sunderland to NCL today? Was it just me and being dis-orientated with the sunny weather or did the aircraft seem very low across Sunderland? It's the first time I've seen it fly over this season. It looked very good with the blue sky background.

Was probably the coming in from Plovdiv to pick up some more mean northeasterners who cannot afford the better swiss/french ski packages.

Saw it parked remote at NCL about two weeks ago, good job too cos if it was parked at the gate and the pax got a chance to see it before they boarded I think it would leave quite empty.

I flew with LZ in 1991 to BOJ when I was 11 year old. If I knew a lot more about aircraft then, I dont think I would have boarded it. The flight was one the best I've been on though, but one of the strip lights fell down on take off, so that scared me a bit. It didn't stop me flying year after year though.

ActuallyACEregular, the Balkans is popular from all over the country. We have plenty of flights to the swiss/french alps. Try looking on a sunday especially.

Any if you want to get really funny, consider this-the rest of the country had low cost carriers for a lot longer than we have. We had go about 3yrs ago, and that was the first. Before that we had to us BA and the like, whereas down south, people could use cheap flights
