F/A Discusses "Blue Ball" Experience

Tue Feb 10, 2004 5:03 am

Hey folks,
I call upon the knowledgeable aviation enthusiasts here to answer a question.
I was listening to what two flight attendants were talking about on a recent flight. They said the third F/A was new to the company, but had a lot of experience with "blue balls." The only thing that came to mind was Pan Am I/II/III. Any other airlines that would apply?

I'm really looking forward to your answers, and thanks in advance.

Ummm.... I can't think of any airlines that would apply, but it sounds like an interesting situation indeed. =P

Could it be Avensa, and not Pan Am, because I distinctly remember the blue ball experience being most often experienced amongst Latino?

There's only one way to resolve blue balls: Explosive decompression.

They were likely referring to Pan Am, since PA's logo was known as the Blue Ball.

It was common for people to refer to the original PanAm as Blue Ball.

On the other hand, sometimes the fluid will build up in the toilet on aircraft lavs and if you don't flush to remove it before you sit down . . .

Happiness is not seeing another trite Ste. Maarten photo all week long.
