LAX - PRG SkyTeam Options

Thu Feb 12, 2004 12:07 pm

just wanted some advice....traveling from LAX - PRG (either DL AF Alitalia or Czech) on a trip during the summer. I am currently coach, but waitlisted for business elite/first. I am 6'3" 230...so my question is which route should I choose on SkyTeam for comfort in coach. I am thinking the DL 767 would be more comfortable than AF 777 because of 2-3-2 on the 76. any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

LAX-JFK-PRG
You can fly the DL 767 from LAX to JFK, than OK A310 from JFK-PRG.
727, L1011, MD80, A300, 777-200, 737-300, 737-700, 747-400, 757-200, 737-800, A320. E190, E135, 767-200, CRJ9

...or you could go completely backwards and fly KE from LAX-ICN-PRG (service starting May this year). Why, it would only add an additional 10 hours to your flight time!  Smile

I think AF's B772ER are much better than DL's 767 !!!

I would advise you :

1234567 LAX 7:00PM --> PRG 5:25PM +1. AF069/AF4902 (AF's 777/OK's 737 )

1--4-6- LAX 9:20PM --> PRG 8:10PM + 1. AF071/AF2482 (AF's744/AF's320 )

OR :

LAX--> JFK (DL) then JFK --> PRG (OK's A310 ).

As others have indicated, Delta doesn't fly to Prague. They code share on either CSA equipment (Airbus 310) non-stop from New York or AF from Paris.

I would do LAX-CDG-PRG not so much on airline considerations but more because LAX-JFK-PRG is two long flights and LAX-CDG-PRG is one very long flight and one short one.
Next flights: MEX-LAX AM 738, LAX-PVG DL 77L, SHA-PEK CA 789, PEK-PVG CA A332, PVG-ORD MU 77W, ORD-MEX AM 738
