Sit behind the wing, just behind the engines. The louder the drone from the engines, the more chance you have of getting a good nights sleep as other disturbances are far less noticeable.

There is a medical term for this, not sure exactly what it is.
I used to love the smell of Jet-A in the morning...

The night before: sleep well and don't drink heavily.

Water Water Water. NO carbonation or peanuts. Unless you just want to crop dust your seat mates all night long.

Try some fresh fruit (banana or apple). Looks for groups of vacant seats after the doors closes. Then grab them and put up the arm rests and make a bed.

Have a great trip !

Im a fan of the single sleeping pill routine! Usually one after dinner on LAX-LHR and no alcohol and i keep my litre water bottle filled and keep drinking whenever im awake. Helps too if you do a little "bedtime routine"- pad down to the bathroom, brush teeth, etc. Also, I actually used the eye shades and ear plugs for the first time on my last long night flight and hot damn if that didnt work! At least it tunes out most things, and puts you in your own little world. Also, dont sit too close to the aisle if you can help it, because of people brushing past. Or near a lav or a galley- ESPECIALLY a galley- the light from there will keep you up all night long.
Hang on tightly, Let go lightly

Booze!
Drink up Bigpappa!

For I usually drink some Bailey's Irish Creme. Drink up before the flight and then on the flight.
That should knock you out.
I support the women’s movement up and down!

Take off your shoes, that is the best tip i can give u. Don't eat too much, drink plenty, and put back your seat.

Enjoy your flight!
