I would think the obivous airline that serves Brazil is Varig Airlines. I think Varig Airline's biggest operating points is the famous Rio De-Janeiro, and Brasila (the capital of Brazil)

By the way- Varig Airlines operates MD-11's, Boeing 777's, Boeing 737's, and I believe they also operate Boeing 767's.

A very few time ago there was thread about Airlines that serves GRU... There were the principal airlines that flies to Brazil, and a/c that is used (GRU is the main airport, where all intl airlines fly to). So, looking at the airlines that serves GRU, you'll find all airlines that serves Brazil (except for some small airlines that flies only between REALLY SMALL cities inside Brazil, principally in North and Southeast region).

American flies to GRU from MIA and DFW, I believe. I also know United and Delta, Delta from Atlanta of course, serves there. And then there is Continental, who serves from EWR. Many other international airlines besides these four probably serve there as well. Doesn't KLM, Air France, Iberia, Alitalia, or British Airways serve GRU, or what about Lufthansa? Surely ones of these has to. I would exchange GRU for STL anyday Big thumbs up

The best we get at STL is the MD-80. I don't think the 757 is there anymore. Soon AA will probably take both of these from us, living the little, boring ERJ-145 jets

Thanks, I always forget something.

However, I read that ANA would be flying their own aircraft into GRU.
