In the late sixties when I was stationed in Germany, I used to go to Frankfurt Airport to spot planes. I often would see a Sudflug DC-7C. I even have slides of both the exterior and interior of a Sudflug DC-7 that I bought way back then. Does anyone know if Sudflug still exists? If so, what does their current fleet consist of?

Hi Bob !

I know that SAS(Scandinavian Airlines System) have this planes in their fleet. They surscribed it as a 3 engined plane,- cause at least one engine often stopped during flight.I`m not sure but i think i heard that the DC 7 actually could fly LA- Stockholm nonstop -20 hours.
