It's on the ground now, is a nice treat, as this is a decent hour.

We had this bird or one similar come to GRR recently in the wee hours of the morning, just enough time to drop off whatever it was bringing here and refuel and then leave..

Anyone know where this bird is off to next?

The one at GRR was the smaller AN124.

I heard in the HNL thread that the 225 will be doing several more MKE-HNL flights to carry train cars between the two airports. Anyone know when/if it will be back in MKE soon? I'd love to go see it!

B-52s don't take off. They scare the ground away.

There is a railroad car restoration plant within 5 minutes of KMKE.

What are the train cars for? Why are they going to Hawaii?

The railcars are used by Siemens for tradeshows. They do say Siemens on the side. I got to see some of them before they were loaded in HNL. And they are going HNL-MKE, not MKE-HNL.

I was referring to the railcars not the aircraft. Speedbird asked about the railcars.
