Thought Hooters only had a couple of old 737s. They are moving up in the world. Got to love it and they have the best FAs!
Hey that guy with the private jet can bail us out! Why? HE CAN AFFORD IT!

Yea I saw it out there too and did a doubletake. I too thought that they only had 737's. I guess I was wrong though. Got a few pics of it. Might try to upload them.

See whats odd, is if it was a charter, the first time it came in ( as far as I am aware of) was after the race (this reported sighting), i wonder how they got here? I only got to work after it left unless it had come in for the duration of the Hershey's 300.
Experience is what you get when what you thought would work out didn't!

I saw it and am pretty sure it was a 752. I am almost a 100% sure about that. It was way too high off the ground to be a 733.

RL757PVD, if possible maybe you could find out for sure?

Definitly was a 757. While I was preflighting out on the Riddle ramp last night I saw it taxi out and take off. It mustn't have been going far, or must have been pretty light becuase it didn't take long for that thing to get off the ground. It was nice seeing an aircraft larger than an RJ or an MD88 climb into the skies over Daytona.

On Sunday night after the race I sat out at 25R and watched all the biz jets leave. That was fun. Also saw the AirTran 717 and the C-5 Galaxy depart, as well as Air Force One earlier in the day.

It was a good weekend, although I was hoping Delta would have brought in a widebody, but I guess the pax loads didn't merit that. There is always next year.

Hooters, Yep, you are correct a 7572...
http://hootersair.com/about/fleet/757-200.asp
Hooters has 4 of them now... or they just added their fourth one...I guess the business is good!
What I understood is that this 757 was a charter by Pace Airlines, they are travel partners with Hooters air. If you check out their website, you can see for your self.
http://www.paceairline.com

Well hope some of you guys and gals can upload it to A.Net.. I got a few pics myself, but I think the sun was a bit too bright, so the quality is not so good to be accepted by A.net ....
Anyone got some nice G-V or Falcon 2000s pics?? or the 737 from Pace? The wind was really good on Sunday afternoon, 25R approach, if you hung out in the Columbia parking lot...!! Unfortunately I could not take any pictures, because of bush his security procedures at the airport he had me sitting under the wing of the C-5 for nearly 1 hour along with the C5 crew and worst was my camera was in the office. I hope you guys will be able upload some pics soon. Well it will be a while, if you take a look at the upload cue?
Hope to see Hooters back soon...! (Maybe for the Pepsi 400??)

Cheers,

I took several pictures all weekend, mostly from the Columbia parking lot here at Riddle. I doubt any are airliners.net quality, because it was too cloudy, and my digi-cam doesn't favor overcast skies too well.

I uploaded a few, we'll see how that goes.

It was there to pickup the race teams for the Bush race on monday it went from DAB to CLT. IT just happened to be in the area of DAB so Pace just flew it in there instead of ferrying one from CLT or INT.
