thats what people have to understand, in many cities you sit around most of the time b/c you only have a few flights. Let's look at CO
's operation in ABQ
. 5 flights a day, a 5 year employee there is making $13-14/hour. But here in MSP
where we are going to be up to 22 flights per day, an employee who has been here 5 years, is also making 13-14/hour. It would be nice to see your pay have a little consideration for the work your doing. The employee in ABQ
may only work one outbound flight in the morning and go home. It doesn't always equal out though for everyone, or in other peoples eyes. But as long as you stick with it, it will pay out in the end. But on the other hand, why do some of these people complain, they picked this job and got themselves into this financial situation, if they want, quit and go somewhere else where you can make more money, no one is stopping you. Or how about moving up in the company, work on moving into a supervisor position, that should pay a little more than just throwing bags around on the ramp.
So at times I dont necessarily feel sorry for some of these people.
