buying 16 A340-500/-600s and 45 A320s during the Asian Aerospace in 2000 but that died down as quickly as it appeared.
The current management has done well to turn around the airline and the MH
chief mentioned last week that MH
is now an "international carrier with regional dominance", referring to the rapid expansion in East Asia.
Nevertheless the long haul services need to be under continuous watch so MH
does not get left behind.
