US Airways Bare Metal 737-300 In Service

Wed Feb 18, 2004 4:32 pm

Greetings all,

Shot today out at IAH was N573US, US Airways bare metal 737-300 with black titles. Spoke with one of the ramp agents and he mentioned that this one, along with a host of other 737-3/400s (9 possibly?), was damaged during the painting process at New Iberia, LA, causing corrosion to form. This 737-300 was stripped and patched back up and currently is wearing a hybrid livery with a bare metal finish, white/red stripes and black titles instead of white.
Has the standard black/white tail scheme. I'd upload it, but I don't shoot digital so when I get the pic back from Kodak in a week or so, I'll see what I can do to get it on here.

"Irregardless, it's a Cat III airplane, we don't need an alternate!"
