Great Plains Prmanently Ceases Operation 2/21/04

Thu Feb 19, 2004 2:58 am

Great Plains Airlines will no longer exist after Saturday February 21, 2004. It was another wild ride for me and I will bring a lot of valuable skills away from this experience.

I would like to thank the Civil Aviation forum for all the words of encouragement and all of the support to our small airline in the past.

Goodbye Great Plains,

This time im going to look for something local here at TUL. I also generated a lot of contacts doing 40+ vendor audits last year so I am trying to tap into some of those contacts.

Some people on this forum have actually contacted me for positions as well. I will keep everyone updated when I find employment. I am so used to shutting companies down I am not even stressed out this time.

I was hoping GPL would make it. This is very sad news.

Good luck.
