I haven't heard much about Eva except that DFW
wants them to start pax service. While I'd love to see it, I don't exactly see where the pax would come from. If Eva has some combi pax-freighter aircraft (which I doubt), I could see them flying 3-4 times a week to TPE
, but only after the new International Terminal D is complete.
Personally, I don't think DFW
would ever get service from both Eva and Cathay. I doubt the market could support both. Given Eva's cargo presence at DFW
, they are the clear bet. They'd definitely have to codeshare with AA
, and coordinate the schedule in order to get passenger feed from Chicago, Washington, Miami, and maybe Atlanta. As much as I love Dallas, I don't think it alone could provide the O&D necessary to maintain the flight.
