Qantas is a dead cert to move in with BA
as they already use terminal 4 with them and all check-in, lounge and ground handling is done by BA
With the new codeshare AA
is a likely candidate to move in the facilitate smooth transfers. Swiss and IB
will by then both be carrying the BA
code on all their flights out of LHR
but do not currently operate from the same terminal, I don't know whether this is due to lack of space at terminal 1/4.
It all depends on the amount of free space in T5
once all BA
opps are in. If there is sufficient room then BA
will naturally push to bring their codeshare partners under the same roof.
