Experiences With Air Dolomiti?

Sun Feb 22, 2004 9:34 am

If anyone has ever flown with them I would really like to know about your experience with them. I believe they are a highly regarded airline.
Also, what are there ATR42s like if you know?

Thanks, ScottishLaddie  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Hello,

I flew with Air Dolomiti ATR72s last fall on the Munich Venice route. I was fun to fly. We had great visibility and it was a great flight low over the alps.
Their ATR's are all of the newer and very comfortable 500 series which is much quieter than the older models. Their interior is with green leather seats and the business class is located in the rear of the plane.
An intersting procedure they use is the push back on own power. They did it on both flights we used. It seems to be a common procedure for the props at MUC anyway.

Regards
