Aer Lingus Livery

Sun Feb 22, 2004 12:05 pm

A question about the Aer Lingus livery: Is the airline getting rid of its green paint scheme in favour of the very bland aerlingus.com special livery? Looking at their website, there is no sign of the airline's former branding image. I think it would be a shame if they are getting rid of their trademark green jets with the shamrock.

No, they are planning to keep their famous green planes. The special colour schemes are just to promote the fact the airline is re-positioning itself as a low-cost carrier.

That's a relief. Thanks Horus.

have to wonder what Oneworld think about EIs LCC route. Doesnt really fit with their 'Quality Alliance' profile.
