No Korean To Shanghai?

Why does Korean Air Lines not serve Shanghai from Seoul at all other than freighter service?

KE operates a daily flight to PVG from Pusan (PUS) using either B737-900 or A-300, depending on the day. No service from ICN.

I heard, no idea if it is true or not, that Chinese officials are limiting KE service to Shanghai due to the crash there.

That's because OZ Asiana fly the route with their own plane 747-400 Combi and doe share with MU A300.
