OK, someone put me out of my misery. What's the link between Comair and BA? If someone's seen a 727 in real BA colours than that's fair enough but does a 727 in Comair colours really count as BA colours?

ComAir is a BA franchise airline in South Africa. I think "franchise" is the right word, rather than an independent partner. Either way, the planes are in BA livery. There are pictures of a couple ComAir 727s in teh airliners.net archive. Take a look for yourself, but they look close enough to the BA colors for me.

I found out there are 2 comair adn 1 conair.
The conair makes hair dryers so it really does not count. But the BA franchise with the South American comair, they fly flights around Africa so BA can say BA flies there when they only have a few flights going to South America. SO all they are are franchised which means they use the BA name pilots wear the BA uniform and the planes wear the livery.
There also is a Comair here in the Us who are a part of Delta connection. They train pilots at the pilots expense and then give them an interview. I would not use there flight training center. The one I would use would be the one that the last aprt of the training is 250 hours as a paid First Officer for some airline not bad.
PS I am proably going to prestwick in 18 months. A buddy of mine is going there in about 4 months he just completed his frozen ATPL test and is now getting the flight time.

OK, I'm convinced. I took a look at the first page of Comair photos and they were nothing like British Airways colours but there's no doubt about the 727.

Maybe there's still some life left for the 727s with CoNair as industrial hairsdryers.
