Will Yemenia have 5th freedom rights on CAI-FRA?

They are planning to start SAH-BEY-BRU 1x weekly service, but I don't know when it will happen. They will have 5th freedom rights on BEY-BRU.

Yeah Yemenia do have 5th freedom rights on the CAI-FRA route.

Also on Sudan Airway's Khartoum-CAI-LHR flights they have fifth freedom rights between CAI-LHR.

LH's schedules in the Middle East appear all mixed up...

LH584 -2---6- FRA-CAI-KWI
LH588 -2-4-67 FRA-CAI-KRT
LH590 1-3-5-- FRA-CAI-ADD
LH592 1-345-7 FRA-CAI-ASM

in the end they have two dailies...

Will these new A330-300s have the new Business Class seats installed?

Horus, the A330-300 will have First Class too (and the new Business Class).

Every indication to this point has said the 333s will be two class. When did that change?

Fly-k

I remember reading that it'll be configured in 2 classes, with a new Business Class.

Hi,
LH, AF and BA sell almost all F-class
seats to their ME destinations including
CAI.
LH offering just C and Y on such a route
would be unconcievable.

That's very true. Recently I flew with BA on their LHR-CAI-LHR route with a B747-400. Their First and Business class cabins are very big, configured with 14 First class and 70 Business class sleeper seats which were almost all occupied. Unless Lufthansa offer a larger, more superior Business class cabin they may loose a lot of business. Though they may have noticed this and reversed this decision as Fly-K claims.

the A333s were always intended to be equipped with both First and Business Class. as was already stated, the Middle East, which seems to be the prime destination for the A333s, is one of the regions with relatively healthy First Class bookings, so it would be surprising if LH wouldn´t equip them with First Class.

however, when Horus first established this thread, i checked LH's online booking engine and i was puzzled when i found that at least at two of those FRA-CAI-KRT flights, the booking engine stated the aircraft as A330-300 but no First Class available. on the other two flights, the booking engine seemed to work properly and showed First Class available.

there was no such mishap with the FRA-CAI-ADD flights, however.
seemed to be a computer glitch, who knows.
