Current L1011 Routes?

Fri Feb 27, 2004 11:59 am

I would just like to know what routes Air Transat, ATA, YES, and anyother current operator put their L1011s on?

I know most of ATAs are military charters right now, but will they keep them around after the war is over??

Thanks a lot for any info.

Embqa: Not correct. Our six remaining L-1011's are flying, mostly for Air Mobility Command. A simple search will give you all the info you need. This seems to be discussed every week nowadays ...

Air Transat is retiring its last L10 on May 4 or 5th and to add insult to visual injury...it is being sold for scrap.

Not sure about the name but a Jordanian charter airline has purchased an ex-Delta L1011, to fly from Aqaba and Amman to various destinations.

I heard that ATA was planning european destinations in 2005, some from Orlando. I assumed they were going to run them with the L10s, if they're gonna scrap em' any idea on how they plan on running these flights, with 757s?
