737-900

Tue Jan 25, 2000 7:53 am

I know that AS is the lauch customer of the 737-900 and that they are to recieve them next year. When does Boeing start to build the first one? And does anyone know of the exact date of delivery? How much smaller is the -900 from the 757? And what routes will AS use the -900 on?

Thanks

Which airline are you talking about? I'm not familiar w/a AS... unless it's ASA (atlantic southeast) but why would they want a 739?

I can answer a few of these questions, I think! N4KHGirl, the AS stands for Alaska Airlines, they are the launch customer for the 737-900. The 737-900 is going to be something like 29 feel shorter than the basic 757-200.
