Mon Mar 01, 2004 3:56 am

Does anyone know/have pictures of Air Transat's new livery?

Thanks

I know this is off the topic, but is Air Transat a charter airline or an airline like Air Canada or United Airlines?

it seems that the three 310 received from Lufthansa will wear this new livery.

It is a fixed charter a/c for certain IT operators out CAD. They do offer weekly service from MCO-YYZ on Sat and the types are 757/L10/310.

Didn't realise they had a new livery. Prefer the old livery better. It was more colorful, especially the tail. The tail of the new livery is just a blank star.

Transat is a travel conglomerant with many divisions in Canada, Europe and recently there have been American aquisitions. The new livery is being applied to all the divisions so there is a common visual brand among them. Their new website reflects the changes apparantly.

The new look to me is nice but a little plain compared to the old one. I miss the blue engines which broke up the white fuselage.. but I can live with this too.

Actually, I believe that Air Transat no longer operates the Boeing 757. They have been phased out, and more A310's have been purchased.

Air Transat also flies the A330 as well as the A320, which was traded from Star Airlines in France.

To go with this new livery, Air Transat also has a new website design. Check it out at: http://www.airtransat.com

The airline recently got a new livery for one of their A310s and it looks disgracefully ugly. Whats with all these Canadian carriers adopting such mundane trends for presenting identity??

So much white on the fuselage and engines!! The only color is the airlines titles like AIR TRANSAT and the fin.
