Good Place To Wait In EWR?

Mon Mar 01, 2004 12:54 pm

I'm arriving into EWR for a conference and a few other people are arriving are arriving a few hours ahead of me, but we're all arriving to Terminal A. We'd all like to take the NJ Mass Transit train into the City, but the other two individuals would like to do something other than just sit and wait for me in Baggage Claim for 2 hours. Is it possible for them to go back into the Terminal after they claim their bags and wait browse the shops/restaurants in the Terminal until my flight gets in, or is this impossible due to having to reclear security?

In Terminals A & B all the food and shopping is before security, at Terminal C it's the opposite.

There's a TGI Fridays in Terminal A, (nice view of the ramp) it's before security.

Baggage claim is outside of security, I don't see any problem with them meeting you at the food court or at TGI Fridays.
