SN And RAM To Expand Their New Codeshare

Mon Mar 01, 2004 6:16 pm

SN Brussels Airlines and Royal Air Maroc recently announced signing a code share agreement on the BRU-CMB route pushing the number of flights to 3 daily (2 x RAM and 1 x SN) which looked a bit too much last week, but the reason for this massive increase in capacity is more clear now: the agreement also allows SN to put its flight code on selected RAM flights, thus turning CMB into a north African Mini-hub for the new Belgian flag carrier!

SN has now selected:
Bamako
Libreville
Niamey
Nouakchott
and will thus push its number of African destinations to 18.
On top of this, CMB will also serve as primary re-routing alternative for SN pax missing their flight to:
Abidjan
Conakry
Dakar

On the other hand, RAM will put its flight code on not less than 8 European SN destinations:
Copenhagen
Gotheburg
Hamburg
Munich
Oslo
Prague
Stockholm
Vienna
thus turning BRU into RAM's mini-hub for Northern Europe (according to RAM's VP Hamid Benbrahim el Andalousi).

Thanks for the news, Sabenapilot!

The flights operated by AT which would carry the SN code were already published some time ago, but I hadn't heard the destinations yet that would carry the AT code operated by SN.

21 weekly flights... hope they will be able to fill those!

PS: CMB = Colombo, Casablanca = CMN  Big grin
