AV8Air - Any Comments?

Tue Mar 02, 2004 4:09 am

Just book to go to Alicante from Manchester in Aug/Sept this year - the code for the airline is MFN - which I've worked out to be AV8Air:

Any comments? Anyone ever flown with them before?

Thanks!

European charter operators come and go, change names constantly-it is hard to track developments, although I like the variety and most European charters I have flown have had excellent service.

Their logos look like a license plate on a car. LOL

Just read that I'll be on a 752 - Anyone ever flown on them before?

I believe that the 757 is ex Air 2000, G-OOOI.

They seem ok from a distance, they can't use their 'Pennine' callsign now because it causes confusion with 'Pennine Radar'.

It is nice to see a start up which looks promising. SQ25J Charter airlines do come and go, I think these will be staying for a while though.

EDIT: Forgot to say, neither of their websites actually work, which is a shame since they have the adress of one on their aircraft.

Have a nice flight  Smile
