I just returned from a MDW-PHX roundtrip, and was wondering how a 757-200, or for that matter a 737-800 can get off the ground at MDW during high density days in the summer. Do they have to fly with less than full passenger loads. Or is there some sort of trick to getting airborne with such little runways.
I did love the ride this last trip on ATA's 757-200. The landing was nice and firm. And the brakes were applied as soon as we touched down. We rolled out from 22L at the last available taxiway.
