Royal Brunei Config

Sat Mar 06, 2004 10:12 am

Hey, just a quick question please. I was on the Royal Brunei V8-RBK today waiting for the cabin to be finished and noticed that this particular aircraft only had a 2 class config, just Business and economy. I pointed this out to the crew and asked them if any other aircraft were the same. The stewardess told me that she thought there was 3 aircraft that had this configuration but was unable to tell me the registrations of the other 2. I also asked the captain but he had no clue. I would just like to know if any of you know which other 2 registrations have the 2 class config. Would be helpful for future reference. Thanks

Tried doing a google search, but hardly any info on RBA fleet was found. Give it a try, maybe you get better luck than me  Smile/happy/getting dizzy http://www.google.com

Aviancegirl: RBA flew the 2-class configuration to Frankfurt last years.
(V8-RBK, V8-RBM and V8-RBN)
And I think the RBA 767 will be history in London soon - the 340 (or is it 330?) will replace it soon.

The A340-200 is the Sultan's aircraft, and not for the normal passengers of Royal Brunei to enjoy. And yes he still has it. Seen the pictures of her interior and I have to say, all that glitters IS gold.

from what i hear, the new Longhaul aircraft have been put on hold because of $$ problems (rumours were a combo of 345 and 342). Dunno if the 767 reconfig is still going ahead ( hope so the Y class is getting very very scrappy ) another little rumour the new superbusiness will be avio EVA seats ala SQ Spacebeds. SQs Spacebed at half the price Big grin
