Yeah, it would make to join with the new regional carrier and it might will get orders of the EMB-170 anytime soon. My guess that would think about UA will make decide to get EMB-170.

Does this mean Shuttle America is leaving USAirways Express or will these Saab-340s be in addition to those already flying for USEx?

...Which would beg the question- what regional aircraft hasn't flown in UALex colors?

Short and SAAB 2000?

Shuttle America could possibly be reallocating some of the planes from USex routes recently discontinued (or announced to be discontinued at a later date). These include TTN-PIT, TTN-BED, and I think a few others that I don't recall.

Dan
I'd rather be flying.

Well the Shorts 360 has, so that would leave the Saab 2000....but no Saab 2000's fly in the US so it makes that point moot.

I've heard Shuttle is only repainting a few of their Saab's, so no new aircraft are being added.

Shuttle America will remain a US Airways Express carrier (albeit with a smaller fleet) and will continue to fly TTN-BED.

I could see were UA Express could do good with a 170, into markets such as GRR, and cities like that. It would be great to see the new UA Express c/s on a 170. I think it'd look pretty good.

Hmm...United Express E170, 2000 nm range. I can see it now..... IAD-PSP, IAD-TUS, IAD-SLC, IAD-ABQ, ORD-CUN, ORD-PSP, ORD-SJO, ORD-SDQ.

Think of the possibilities!!!
Direct KNOBS, maintain 2700' until established on the localizer, cleared ILS runway 26 left approach.

ORD-EUG???? That would be a good one... seing as they only continue to add CRJ flights from here... and a mainline flight was rumored extensively in the past.

I would not bank on any of those city parings. Republic / Chautauqua really dosen't even fly west of the Mississippi River. You'll see them on the eastcoast.
