The legal name may become SAS Braathens - that does NOT mean that the planes will have that name painted onto them.
Yeah I really don't think there is a need to repaint the aircraft with these new names. The name change has mostly got to do with the company internal affairs and not much to do with the customers. Although they'll operate as separate entities, I doubt we would notice much difference in this new arrangement in the near future as their routes will still be streamlessly coordinated. It's not like they are competing with each other so much.
I'm just wondering if the code SK
will still apply to all of these 4 companies. For the same reasons that I mentioned above, I don't think they need to. Or maybe they'll change to LAN Group's system with LA
+ (sorry i dont know the codes for LAN Ecuador & LAN Dominicana).
