A Chinese Medium Sized (150+ Seat) Aircraft

Mon Mar 15, 2004 9:04 am

A short but interesting article:

I guess any such move would be highly dependant on the success of the ARJ21 (which so far seems to be coming along well). Chinese technology and willpower has developed drastically over the past few years.

Chinese execs have recently been seen in Kiev, and have been discussing co-operation in this project with Antonov -- to follow on from the ARJ21 which has had its wing designed by the Ukrainians.

The article was not there for me.

So this is still in the development phase or 'on drawing board'? what areas would it be fore and will either Airbus or Boeing attempt dumping in the Chinese market?
