Emerald's New Livery Design (pict)

Wed Mar 17, 2004 2:58 am

Nice aircraft paint design, great colours. Pitty they put the "Emerald Airways"-titles below the windows. This makes the plane "sad"-looking. Positioning the titles above the passengers windows would have looked much, much better.

Despite the lot of white the new Emerald image (the emerald coloured blocks) looks neat and is an improvement comparing with their former logo. Alas that typography (in the weird additional colour blue) damages the livery.

What the hell is with airlines randomly positioning geometric shapes on their planes now? First JAT and Croatia, now this! I'm supposed to associate 6 blocks with Emerald Airways?

I think Spirit must have set the trend with their livery...

I quite like it, but agree that it would have looked better with the titles above the window line.
