How To Get A Lear From Alaska To India.

Sat Mar 20, 2004 4:09 pm

Hey guys, don't know if this a prank call I got at work or not, but I have a gentleman who is interested in a charter of a lear 35 to India.

I admit it, he stumped me.

Anybody have any idea about how to route such a flight and what the distances are?

Dear L-188 -
xxx
Needs to go West from Alaska, the other way around is longer.
xxx
Route it to Anadyr, Siberia, then Khabarovsk, then Japan, HongKong, Bangkok, and end up in Calcutta, Madras or wherever in India.
xxx
Looks to me like some 24 hours of air time.
Get all the planning from these handling companies in AC-U-KWIK...
xxx
Give me a week or two notice, I volunteer to go "along".
2,000 PIC in Lears - include 35/36 - and know that route very well.
... and Russian airspace and procedures...
