A little anecdote here about F/As...
I am an ex-PanAm pilot who survives (well) in South America.
We ex-PamAmigos keep in touch. One of my friends is an ex-PanAm F/A...
I occasionally meet her. We talked about her favorite airplane...?"
Not the 727, 1011 or 747, no Sir...! - No regrets ever.
She now flies a Gulfstream G-IV
-ER whatever you call these things.
Today she may do a flight to Geneva, next week to Hawaii, then Tokyo.
Her hotels...? - Five stars, all expenses paid within reason, no per diem, all paid.
She has an airplane with 12 (?) passenger seats, but rarely more than 3 or 4 passengers.
Catering, all ordered as per passengers requests, the day before... Lobster, escargots, whichever.
Beverages is not that easy, is it Chateau Margaux 1959 or Nuits St Georges 1977...
And that CEo's wife little Maltese dog? Oh yeah... Paté de foie...
Eh, Tania, would you love to get back flying airlines...?
Nope, her favorite is the G-IV
... she hopes for a G-V soon...
See you at the Clipper Club soon, Tania.
