Would this be what you're looking for? Not quite all the wing but a fair bit of it!

I saw the same programme. It was an Israeli DF F15D that had a mid air collision with an A4 and managed to land with only one wing. I saw the photos on the show. Incredible.

I have had a quick websearch and only come up with a couple of references

No photos, but seeing the photos on the TV, I do believe it happened.

Yeah, thanks. I hadn't seen your reply before I posted. That was one of the several photos they had on the show.

Still amazing.

I remember seeing a photograph of an F-18 that had suffered a midair; the last third of the port wing was like confetti.
It takes a big man to admit they are wrong, and I am not a big man.

Don't forget the Spantax CV-990 that colided with an Iberia DC-9 in the 70's and still managed to land despite large chunks of a wing being torn off. The DC-9 wasn't so lucky.

Not crazy at all. A TWA 707 lost a bit of wing on takeoff from SFO and somehow made it to Travis AFB a few years ago.

Or do I remember the PA 747? Call me crazy, it seems that I get more confused by the day though I'm not yet in full dementia. Soon though, way too soon.

Sulman, don't know if this is what you're referring to, but I have quite an extensive archive of pictures of aircraft from the net, and I quickly found these 2.

Not as severe as the F-15, but impressive nonetheless.
