I was curious if anyone had an opinion about the following job description with ARINC (i.e. is this a dead end job, graveyards shift for years, etc.):
Title Radio Operator
Position Type Full Time
International and domestic air and ground communications. Utilizes radio (HF, VHF), computer, and telephone modes of communication. Receives, copies and delivers ATC clearances, advisories, and requests as required. Operate radio equipment, control position equipment, point–to-point systems for delivery of air/ground traffic, radio connection facilities for dispatchers and other authorized stations. Salary: $17.00/hour start. Increase to $18.50/hour after 6 months. $19.50/hour after one year. Training provided.
