Cool site Ryanair737...thx alot!

But Chris78cpr..on some on the blank dates of the calender and from what I have witnessed personally...are G-VROC (Mustang Sally) on a few occasions and G-VROY (Pretty Woman) on one occassion. Odds are you get one of the regulars...G-VFAB, G-VBIG, G-VWOW, G-VAST, G-XLRG or G-VTOP.

The second flight is always an A340-300.

I think VS7/8 are now operated with UCS aircraft, so that would mean Odyssey or v:port. I'm sure Leezyjet or one of the VS cabin crew on the forums will be able to fill you in with the correct details.

LAX was a priority for Suites after JFK & SFO. Since the Suites are only 'compatible' with the V:Port and Odyssey entertainment systems on VS, when they've Suites on an aircraft with an older system (Arcadia, and Nova when they get around to the LGW planes), it gets V:Port.

This means, when they've finished fitting Suites to all the 744s, 10 will have V:Port and only 3 with Odyssey. Chances of getting V:Port on any 744-serviced route will be greatly increased.

G-VAST (Ladybird) - Suites fitted already with Odyssey
G-VBIG (Tinker Belle) - Suites fitted already with V:Port
G-VFAB (Lady Penelope) - Has Arcadia, will get V:Port with Suites
G-VGAL (Jersey Girl) - Has Nova, will get V:Port with Suites
G-VHOT (Tubular Belle) - Has Arcadia, will get V:Port with Suites (due Apr)
G-VLIP (Hot Lips) - Has Nova, will get V:Port with Suites
G-VROC (Mustang Sally) - Was delivered with Suites & V:Port
G-VROM (Barbarella) - Has Nova, will get V:Port with Suites
G-VROS (English Rose) - Has Nova, will get V:Port with Suites
G-VROY (Pretty Woman) - Has Nova, will get V:Port with Suites
G-VTOP (Virginia Plain) Suites fitted already with Odyssey
G-VWOW (Cosmic Girl) - Has V:Port, but yet to have Suites fitted
G-VXLG (Ruby Tuesday) - Has Odyssey, but yet to have Suites fitted

The VS007/008 is, barring any last minute aircraft changes due to maintainence or operational problems, operated by one of the aircraft with the new UCS. Therefore you should find yourself on one of the following:

G-VTOP, G-VAST, G-VBIG, G-VROC.

G-VHOT will not be back in time for your flight. I would say that of these G-VROC and G-VBIG are the favourable options due to the AVOD entertainment, and new premium economy and economy interiors. Closer to the time I will try to post exact aircraft scheduled for the route, although these aircraft are constanly being swapped around at the moment due to retrofits being made to the UCS, and associated fixtures and fittings.

Does anyone know the average PAX numbers on this route???

I mean is there a chance that the aircraft will only be semi full or is it gonna be rammed full@???

V:Port isn't nothing to write home about your too spoilt for choice really. The SFO route I was on was pretty full outbound but on the return leg I got a whole row to my self so you might get lucky with Justin.

I GUARENTEE you there will be no "getting lucky with Justin" of any sort on this trip!!!!!!

I would like to try Vport on the way out as i seriously doubt we will have anything but Arcadia on the way home!!!! I hope it isn't too full!!! lol We will have to see!

The flight will in all likelyhood be near 100% full because of all the easter traffic. Throughout the winter the flight has had very high load factors due to the VS023 being suspended oct-mar. Every now and again the VS023 gets substituted for a B744. Admittedly not very often but it happened to me once and it's normally during peak times so keep your fingers crossed for the return!

Be nice if Virgin even did it. As it is, it's a site created by their (unpaid) customers, not the airline itself.

It's too early to say.

Can only speculate at this time that it will be one of the LHR based 744's  Big grin . Only time it will be 90+% accurate is the day before when the following days flight schedules are produced.

Even then there is a chance it could change on the day.

Email me nearer the time and I'll try and find out.
