Jet And Sahara Start Intl Flights To Colombo

Thu Mar 25, 2004 12:43 am

Two articles - one about Jet and the other about Sahara.

90,000 indian tourists and 300,000 transit pasengers and growing at 8-10%.
Are these numbers correct? or are these PR talk?

Two articles - one about Jet and the other about Sahara.

If all this talk is true - Colombo is turning out to be a major connection point for Indians. And does Jet really control 46% of the Domestic indian market?

I think if Jet?Air Sahara enter CCU-DAC or CCU-CGP market, they will give BG a run for its money. While these airlines are advancing into SAARC, Biman is scaling back their offerings from B737 on CCU-DAC to all F-28s. And the Bangladesh Government won't let GMG enter the market. Things get interesting, indeed.
