I have flown both ANA and JAL, as well as Skymark, but I don't think that they fly to Osaka yet.
JAL is good, the 777-300 is a blast, and sitting in the back, you really feel that tail yaw when in a crosswind. Seat pitches in coach on JAL's 777-300 are satisfactory, comparable with the seat pitch of most American carriers, if you don't mind 3-4-3 seating. I flew Business in JAL and the seats were more than ample, even if the service wasn't much for a domestic flight. That flight was in a 777-200 on flight 155 from NRT
, the once daily domestic run to FUK
out of Narita.
I flew ANA in a 747-400D and the service was great, and the seats were more than enough in coach. It's not a long flight from where I was leaving and going to...HND
. The fun thing about a 747-400D is that they are ROCKETSHIPS. They use so little runway and you take off at an incredible AOA. Very fun, and I think they beat out the 777 experience totally.
