Cabin Improvements

Thu Mar 25, 2004 12:51 pm

We all read over and over about problems with this or that cabin (e.g. no PTV on LH, terrible colors inside ElAl, bad sit pitch of IB A340, more legroom, etc.). If you have to improve an specific cabin, what can you personally suggest to do?

Legroom legroom legroom....I don't care about colours or PTV as long as I'm sitting comfortably.
After Monday and Tuesday even the calendar says WTF...

A plug (haha) for my laptop and a internet connection to upload "live" pictures.

I'll second Andz's comment - LEGROOM, LEGROOM, LEGROOM, an occasional increase in the height of the seatback (lots of seats end around my shoulder-blades... not really comfortable when flying for several hours) and, once or twice, I'd have appreciated just one or two centimeters more seat width...

Smile - it confuses people!

I usually fly with the airline that can give me the lowest fare so i do not think that anything will be improved in Y-class... Not for us. But in C-class would internet be great!

If airlines would just clean up after each flight.

Because I am often on the way with LH (most time in business class) my demands are as follows:

1. More legroom
2. More width of seats
3. Better climate in moment of starting the engines (sometimes it needs one or two minutes until the climate control is running again)
4. Internet connection for long haul flights
5. More place for jackets and coats (esp. in winter time)
6. Radio or music channels for regional flights as well
7. No adjustable seatbacks for short haul flights
8. No middle seats  Big grin

Sorry for "adding" this topic:

It's a letter seat better for you (in Y, C or F)? Why?

Have you ever been in that so called window seat, and there is no window? (You must move forward to take an outside look?)

Or, stuck in a window seat or in the middle, in a long haul flight, and can't simply go to the w/c??????

For me:

1) Legroom
2) Cleanliness
3) Replace Worn seats, wall panels, carpet more frequently
Great Lakes, great life.

Ban all on-board bagage except briefases (or similar) and handbags. Everyone can afford to wait 10 minutes to get their friggin bag off a carrosel after a flight.
