Concorde On Thames?

Thu Apr 01, 2004 1:57 am

Ive heard a rumor and im sure its true that Concorde G-BOAA will be doing a New York style water floating manouvre!!!

Now as the rumor has it it will be on the Thames so my question is - When is this likely to happen?, Where exactly can i see it (vantage point)? and what time will it be going down?

If the rumors are true that is..............

Concorde is on the road right now, crawling through Isleworth in London, looking very sad with her nose removed....just saw it on Sky News.
After Monday and Tuesday even the calendar says WTF...

According to all the UK papers, G-BOAA's departure has been postponed for a week, due to unfavorable tide conditions.

It will not be going down the Thames for another week due to Tide conditions.

Ryan, I'll contact you soon about LHR on Tuesday.

The LHR meet went and saw the Concorde last night, I saw it yesterday but could not get any decent shots!  Sad
