Connexion By Boeing's Aircraft At MSP

Thu Apr 01, 2004 4:51 pm

Head's up on a cool aircraft at MSP currently. Connexion by Boeing's aircraft flew in Wednesday at 6:42pm. I love that paint scheme.

I'm guessing this is a demonstration of their product. Are they showing it off to Northwest?

Perhaps they are showing the 737-400 off to NW for replacing those pesky DC-9s. After all, in the "Things that would never happen" thread, I said they would never get a 737....

It was at IAH on Tuesday, and departed around 3pm if memory serves correctly. I watched it take off, but can't remember the time.

Well it did a demonstration flight from MSP back to MSP this morning. It'll be leaving any minute now bound for Iqaluit (YFB) in Canada.

I sure hope NWA doesn't buy any 734's, I don't like them at all! The only time I was in one, I had a terribly bumpy ride. If they are going to buy something from the 737 line, it should be a B738 or B739.

Wiz - NW has no need for the 734, therefore won't be buying any. And by the way, the a/c design, manufacturer, company operating, flight crew and paint scheme do not control the air that creates bumps while flying.

I think this is the inflight email stuff that boeing has to offer... and is probably pitching the program to NW or Sun Country.
