Which Is Better: PTVs In Armrests Or Seatbacks?

Just wondering. I personally like armrest one better.

Never had armrest before. Seatback is fine, if it's like the SAA Sony P@ssport system where you can adjust the screen so it's at the right angle if you want to lean back or the person in front of you is leaning back. Armrest would be nice though, as you have a lot more control over the viewing angle, etc.

It depends on what airline you have as well. With my airline on the 764s the TVs are in the seatbacks while at the bulkhead the TVs are on the walls.

Seatbacks.

The armrest ones make your seat less wide, and also prevent the arm from raising.

The bulkhead ones are not adjustable in terms of pitch. Hard to see.

I had armrest ptv in the first row of an UA 763 economy and in the return flight I got a back seat ptv. The armrest is better, but it´s a little unconfortable to get it from lower part of the armrest (at least the UA one was like this), don´t know if you can understand me!
