Delta Flight 55 3 April 2004

Sun Apr 04, 2004 3:32 am

Hello all,

Can anybody tell me some details about DL Flight 55 today? I was at the grocery and noticed some large contrails in the sky so I went to http://www4.passur.com/sdf.html and changed the time on the display to 11:21 am today. If you look around the Salem, IN area you will see DL 55 what appears to be enroute to CVG. Did it have a mechanical, some other emergency? I haven't finished watching it to see what it does. But I thought it was interesting.

I never did find the large contrail I saw going west at that time. Would military aircraft show up on this web site?

Thanks,
John

Strange... if you keep watching it, at 11:28am it disappears from the monitor....

I guess these web sites aren't perfect and sometimes cross-id the flights.

Let's hope!

Cheers to all,
John

I am glad I am not the only person who saw this. Never did figure out why it was there, but guess it was a Passur.com error and nothing with the DL flight.

That was a very interesting website to visit. Do you know if there is a website that I can visit to track planes in my area? (Houston) IAH, HOU..
Thanks. t2f
