AA New Colors - Part 2

Fri Apr 09, 2004 2:23 pm

Here are a couple of other concepts. One is Astrojet inspired, the other looks a little too similar to AeroMexico.

I'm sorry to say but,

#1 looks too much like BA and #2 looks great but for a few things. The AA symbol in the front needs to be on the tail and the red American should be embedded into the blue stripe but in red/white colors.

Just my input sorry if others disagree.

They both look great but not for AA-

Concord977 -

awesome job on both. I like the 2nd one better though because it has more blue than red in it, and I prefer less bright colors. Good job though anyways, on both !!! ! The second one also resembles more of an American feel to me, with the emphasized eagle instead of the AA only with a small eagle in between.

Great job with your designs, you've inspired me to do up my ideal AA rebranding that I've conceptualized for a long time.

I say rebranding because I think the font and logo could be updated (although they are fine as is).

Concord977,

I've seen a bunch of ideas for AA and other airlines - but the three versions you have posted are the BEST. How can I get a copy of these from you?

Diamond / KG,

I'm not really "selling" anything. Send me an email with your address, and I'll drop a couple of draft copies in the mail for you. They look much better when printed.

Take care,

I like the #1 a lot. Keep the current tail logo I think. But the current livery probably is not going to be changed.

Hey Concord-

Submit those to Modified Airliner Photos right away please. We welcome designers that do excellent work like you. http://www.cardatabase.net/modifiedairlinerphotos/

I particularly like your first. Here are some other AA concepts from MAP.

L1011,

They were uploaded a couple of days ago - must still be in the queue.

There are a lot of nice ideas over there.

Take care,
Curt

Curt,
although I am not a fan of AA. I still think these drawings of yours are awesome. Good job!!!!!. Hopefully AA will change it to the 2nd one, it would be kewl to see a new livery for them.

We've been having problems at MAP. Incredibly, both photo screeners (myself and Airplanepics) managed to have our computers crash within a month of eachother, and our administrator (Henrik/Henks) is on crutches and in Norway, so our screening speed is dramatically reduced as we all try to get the computer section of our lives back in line. I've spent the past two days trying to get my computer back to some resemblence of what I had. So, please bare with us.
