A bad idea as they couldn't compete to Lan and its 767s in terms of cargo and comfort. Lan bought UC
to Iberia (1995) in very bad financial situation, and took all its international routes (Mendoza, Bogota, Havana, Quito, etc), drop others (Kingston, Washington, Guatemala, Salvador, etc) and left Ladeco only domestic, till it changed to LanExpress (2001).
Anyway, I think MX CUN
was a little longer, and those are the longest regular 757 routes ever.
