Always wondered how CO managed to get throse 752s all the way to MAN and LGW from CLE. That seems also to be at about the limit of the 752s range.

Not much room for ATC delays once they get the UK!

My example pales in comparison with the ones mentioned above, but it is still a longish one: AM flies a 752 between MEX and LIM non-stop. According to the Great Circle Mapper the distance is 2,285 nm (5 hours 45 minutes southbound and 6 hours northbound).
Next flights: MEX-LAX AM 738, LAX-PVG DL 77L, SHA-PEK CA 789, PEK-PVG CA A332, PVG-ORD MU 77W, ORD-MEX AM 738

My longest 757 ride was upon landing on 21R at DTW, and taxiing all the way over to the terminal.

My longest 757 flight was SAN-DTW.

Ethiopian Airlines sometimes flies its 757s nonstop to Frankfurt from Addis Ababa, a distance of 2881.44nm (about 7 hours and 20 minutes). There were also instances this winter when they flew nonstop from Heathrow to Addis, a distance of 3181.09nm

I am thinking either MDW-SNN or KWI-SNN. We do some weird routing to/from KWI so I think the http://www.landings.com/evird.acgi$pass*62256647!_h-www.landings.com/_landings/pages/search/search_dist_apt.html may be accurate for a direct flight, but not TZ. The MDW-SNN (awesome early morning departure along the shore of Lake Michigan) was a ferry flight and KWI-SNN was live. There could very well have been some a bit longer, and correct me if I am wrong, but that's pretty much getting all the range we can out of the aircraft. I love every minute of flying in the 757-200 and -300.

Mount Cook is offering 752 YYZ-Bremen nonstops this summer.

C3 used to fly 752 YYZ-DUS.

Finnair flies 752 YYZ-HEL most summers.

I dumped at the gybe mark in strong winds when I looked up at a Porter Q400 on finals. Can't stop spotting.

What about the CO 757s that served Geneva for a short time? Wasn't that all the way from EWR? Also, I believe at one point CO 752s operated EWR-AMS, until being replaced with the 762ERs and 764ERs. Where do the CO 777s serve AMS from?

AY flies from HEL to HKT, not too sure if they still do.

I'm sure B757 delivery jets also are long flights, from example XO and their B752s. From BFI to URC.

LTU used to take the 752 to Male and Colombo, via Sharjah.

Transavia fly to Thailand and,i think,Male and Colombo, via Sharjah.

Air Seychelles links the small island to Europe with 757s too.

Some years back I took Air 2000 on a 752 from London to Kingston, Jamaice via Bangor, Maine. A really really long trip - I think it was like 13 hours total !

As Industrybuff mentioned, during the late 1980's/early 1990's, UK charter flights from Air Europe, Monarch and Air2000 frequently used B757's from the UK to MCO and Carribean destinations stopping via Bangor, Maine. These tech stops lasted about an hour and for the MCO flights were often used for passengers to clear immigration, thus saving time for passengers on arrival in Florida.

With favourable winds, these B757's could sometimes make the return MCO-UK flight non-stop.

Monarch used to fly LTN-BGR-LAS with the 757-200 in 235Y config. I would not have wanted to do that. It was at it's MTOW on departure from LTN.I worked on check-in at the time and the passengers were total trash. All of the smoking seats used to fill up first and it appeared that a shell suit was compulsory attire! If there had been a fire on board the results would have been catastrophic due to the amount of synthetic fibres.
I also remember flying to BGI on a BY 767-200 from MAN. An Airtours 757 left for BGI just before us, routeing via BGR. Unfortunately they encountered strong headwinds and had to stop in KEF first. I think it took them around 15 hours. We were already sunning ourselves on the beach by the time they arrived!

Hi all,

I guess Finnair's seasonal B757 service from HEL to YYZ most be one of the longest and according to Great Circle Mapper distance is:

HEL-YYZ 3574nm

also Sometimes Finnair has flown using B757:

HEL-PEK 3415nm

Flights from YYZ to Germany are little bit shorter which someone suggested..

According to Boeing's doc's, a 752 in COs international layout has an effective still air range of 3,750 nm, pax and bags only. Of course extra cargo makes that a little less and you will have to adjust for different reserves. This is about 500 nm more than a CLE-LGW great circle distance

1999, EWR-BOG on CO (continuing to UIO): 2477 mi

2001, DUS-EWR on CO: 3762 mi

Canada 3000 used to fly from London to Vancouver via Toronto, then use the same plane to fly to Hawaii Fiji and Sydney. For at least one season they sold tickets in the UK for the whole thing, so ladies and gents, the 757 has flown the Fiesta route, London to Sydney via N America and the S Pacific. Now that'sa long flight.

I havn't flown this...

But have have found on flyJets website they operate Birmingham, UK to Amritsar, India and on the 6th December 2003 they flew this route non stop which is 3926 miles which was done in 8hrs 16mins.

I know very little about this airline but would imagine they would usually stop for fuelling in the Middle East, but on this particular day they had tail winds in their favour.

Ladeco replaced 707 with 757 in the 90s for SCL-MIA-JFK and SCL-MIA-IAD-YYZ. More than 8 hrs and 30'' non stop

A bad idea as they couldn't compete to Lan and its 767s in terms of cargo and comfort. Lan bought UC to Iberia (1995) in very bad financial situation, and took all its international routes (Mendoza, Bogota, Havana, Quito, etc), drop others (Kingston, Washington, Guatemala, Salvador, etc) and left Ladeco only domestic, till it changed to LanExpress (2001).

Anyway, I think MX CUN-EZE was a little longer, and those are the longest regular 757 routes ever.

Brilliant! LOL.
I flew Monarch LGW-MAN-BGR-MCO a few years back, but wasn't in a shellsuit. Not the most comfortable of flights. Way back was meant to be non-stop, but we ended up with a fuel diversion into SNN.

Many European airlines have charter flights from Europe to Thailand like AY, Condor, LTU etc. Thaijets also operates 757 from BKK to FRA via Sharjah. Consider Thailand to Europe even with 1 stop, it's pretty long to be in narrow body aircraft.

Juanchito, one of the most recent postings of the thread called "MX in Europe" contains info on MX's non-stop CUN-EZE service using a 752. You are right this is a long one. Distance in nm is 3,710, which is very close to the 752's limit of 3,990 nm that Roberta mentioned. Longer than EWR-LIM or EWR-AMS!!!
Next flights: MEX-LAX AM 738, LAX-PVG DL 77L, SHA-PEK CA 789, PEK-PVG CA A332, PVG-ORD MU 77W, ORD-MEX AM 738

I love 757's!
