Air France @ SFO

Fri Apr 16, 2004 3:24 pm

Hello --

Having flown AF on SFO-CDG-SFO many times, on three different types, I was curious about the new 3-class/2-class AF fleet:

Since only 777s and eventually A380s will be tri-class, what's the situation on AF flights such as CDG-SFO-CDG where the type varies between A343, 772ER, and 744 depending on the season?

Does anyone know if this just means some flights will have a first class, and others won't, depending on time of year? Or is AF going to settle on one type for routes like these?

The modification of ALL the fleet will take time and should last until the end of 2006... but SFO (unlike LAX) is not a destination where AF plans to keep the offer of the First Class, so a daily service CDG-SFO with the A343 during the winter season and with the B744 during the summer (or 2XDaily A343 ) is what you must expect in a near future.
