American Eagle Load Question IND - ORD

Sun Apr 18, 2004 7:12 pm

OK, I went back two years in the archives, I did not find any similar strings. How many flights does AA have Eagle flying between Indy and O'Hare daily and what do the loads look like? I am going to be heading to Chicago several times this summer and I am looking at my travel options. American Eagle is one of my options (along with WN and C8 to MDW) and I have yet to fly on an ERJ.

I really do not want to drive it four or five times, in the heat no less!

Also, only one Eagle ERJ at IND in the data base? I need to dust off my camera and get out there!

Sir,

I just checked IND-ORD for June and and there is only one ERJ flight on AA's schedule that departs at 1726L. The rest of the flights are MD-80's and one CRJ-700.

Eugene, welcome to A.Net. I have never seen an American Eagle or American Connection CRJ here at IND. Is it Eagle and is it a new flight? It was my understanding that the Eagle CRJs were all going to be out of DFW and not ORD.

I do see a few Eagle ERJs here, where do they route to and from? There is also the occasional ATR American Connection here but that is Trans States (I believe to and from STL).

Joe, that is what was my thought initially also, but I have to go to the northwest side of Chicago most of the times. If I was going downtown, MDW is the way to go.

Eagle CR7's were originally only flying out of DFW but an ORD base was established as the F-100 is currently being phased out. Eagle and Mainline are currently balancing capacity with demand on certain flights between city pairs with anything from ERJ's, CR7's, the F-100 (while they last) and MD-80's.
